Here is a picture of my new patio set and the bradford pear in our back yard. I thought the tree was so pretty (it even looked so pretty from inside the house!) so I played around with the camera abit. Hopefully I will get the one in the front tomorrow. Springtime is so beautiful but the colors dont stay around long enough for my satisfaction(same as autumn) so I just had to get it on photos -and even these do not do justice to seeing the true colors in person :) I know you all enjoy Gods colors this season as much as I do-wish I could see yours!

Spring is finally here!! yay!!
I hope you enjoy these photos there are about 22 of them so you may have to click on older posts a couple of times. I love you all- have a blessed weekend and upcoming week!
Here are pics of the recent haircut and color. Not too much different from the last. Nothing like a haircut to make you feel like a new woman! The other is Annalise's JBQ group. She had her last match and it is over for the season till next fall.

This is a picture of our choir singing with North Central Chorale last Sunday. They did a great job, and it was good to see Larry Bach (choir director-he was our choir director in Minneapolis at Eagan campus of Cedar Valley church)and his family again. It was fun revisiting the past.
These are some pics of our walk around the neighborhood lake. This day was a beautiful late afternoon with temps in the 70's (it had gone up to 82 degrees-a record here). We love to walk and look at all the nature. You might say it was a very "ducky" day! (although here every day is a ducky day)We have even noticed that we have a new little duck family swimming around in our pond. I wanted to take a pic-but as soon as I wanted to they didnt come close enough. So I hope I can get some photos of them.

Lets "face" it some one had too much time on her hands!

Brianna "facing" the music!

This a trip to the Kansas city zoo during spring break-no we DIDNT go to see our relatives as some might think-(although at the monkey cage I told Annalise, that was where we got her-I dont think she believed me). We had a good time with her friends Mary Grace (with the dark long hair) and Delaney. Mary Grace's brothers were also there. The zoo rocks! (literally- the kids did alot of climbing all over them =)

These pictures are taken the first weekend in March. We had temps in the 60's for a few days then this snow came in and blanketed us before it went and emptied itself along half the east coast (it even went down to Alabama-yeah!). So we got our gear and decided to brave the blustery cold (and let me tell you-it was stinkin COLD and windy!) -plus it gave Annalise a chance to wear the boots I bought her for snow, and use the sled she got for Christmas! The picture where it is a long shot is Brianna waaayyy down the hill-she didnt stop for a long time so she is very far away. It was pretty funny. So, ok, the snow lasted for about 4 days and then the temps went up to the 70's!! So what is that all about??? I guess that is just March for you! Oh well, be blessed and know that the blossoms are starting to bloom and the flowers are poking through the ground-and Im hearing birds in the morning!! All signs that Spring is emerging! Yeah!! Spring is always a welcome return!

Sled riding in March!

These couple of pics are just recent things goin on in our days. Brianna's friends are from the UMKC where she attends college. They were all just hanging and it was a good excuse to make brownies (every reason is a good excuse to make brownies!) . The other pics are Annalise's 2nd grade concert. There were other classes involved in the little play, but I was too far away to get the whole Gymnasium so I just took a picture her class. She is in the front row with a pink shirt on and a black vest (in case you couldnt find her already). They sang about the 3 little pigs-very cute, of course ;)
